Our installation always starts with a free consultation to get an idea of what you the client are looking for. Do you want to enhance your curb appeal? Create a backyard oasis in the evening? Increase your home security? Perhaps all of the above. This consultation steers us towards the initial design where we can establish a package price for the installation.

The days of large bulky high voltage fixtures are behind us. Today landscape lighting is mainly low voltage which opens up a world of endless possibilities. Our fixtures use LED lamps that have a rating of up to 10,000 running hours! In addition to their longevity, their low power consumption make them incredibly affordable to operate 365 nights a year.

Although we install a wide range of products that can fit within your budget, we tend to stick with brands that will last a lifetime. Landscape lights that are composed of cast brass, copper, or solid aluminum have a track record of standing up to the harshest of environments. Our extreme Winnipeg weather is the true test of the products resiliency: downpours, blizzards,  sub zero temperatures, and scorching heat all have no impact on each product's long-term operation.

Investing in the right product is important. What about the installation? So many factors come into play when dealing with the proper installation of landscape lighting. 

• Has the right fixture been chosen for the application?
•  Is the fixture placed in the optimal location to achieve the best results?
•  What about the things you can't see? Is the installer using proper wire sizing, doing electrical load calculations, and using quality waterproof wire connections?
• Are the fixtures level and installed securely?
• Are the fixtures aimed and adjusted properly?
• How will the existing landscaping be cared for?

These are just a few of the questions that must be factored in when doing an installation. At Nightlight, we know the smallest of details make all the difference in a professionally installed system. We employ passionate people who take pride in their work, from the initial design assessment to returning after sunset to do a final aim and adjustment of the fixtures. We are equally as excited as the client when we see the dark, hidden yard come to life for the first time during the final landscape lighting reveal.

The saying ' You get what you pay for' certainly applies to landscape lighting. Fixture manufacturers have a warranty that covers your investment from anywhere between two years to a lifetime when purchased through an approved distributor.  In addition to the product warranty, Nightlight offers a labour warranty on our installation for a period of up to five years.
